Teacher Resources There are many resources that can help you in your teaching and help student learn. I think infographics and teaching with games are a few of the most important resources a teacher could use. Infographics are visuals, they could be symbols, shapes, or images that add character to simple numbers, words, and sentences (Staff). We are required as teachers to use a number of resources like charts, forms, and other ways to express data not only for science and math but for reading as well. Infographics can be made by the teacher or even the student. Faisal Khan created a list of 46 tools with great places to create infographics. Another important resource to fuel learning could be games. Games are so important I the classroom because it brings on that higher order thinking we want the kids to experience. Parent Teacher Conference Word Template

I chose to use the parent conference record template. I chose this because I think it is such a good idea to keep record of every interaction with the parents. This is a simple page you can insert into the students file to keep on hand in case you need to access it immediately. Sometimes the computer doesn’t allow for immediate access to files you need right away and it also sometimes makes for an uncomfortable meeting if you are taking notes on the computer while talking to the parent. I modified the template by simply typing into the blank spaces. I added the names and content pretty easily. I would simply print this document without modifying it online when I am having a parent teacher conference. If you choose to use this with text instead of print it would work out the same, however, when you are done typing your notes you will need to print it for the parent to sign.
